The Terracotta Warriors are a significant archeological embodiment of Chinese culture and history. During his reign in the Qin dynasty, Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di ordered the production of over 7,000 terracotta soldiers to surround his tomb and accompany him into the afterlife.

This particular Terracotta Solider replica is depicted with slim facial features and cone bun. The cone bun visually encapsulates a historic Qin custom as visually illustrated on our Terracotta Soldier replica. Headwear and hair styles reveal different ranks on Qin warriors. Since the Qin Dynasty (221-207) there has been documentation of various ways to style, braid and pin the cone bun. Low ranked soldiers have a bun on the right side of their head. A bun that sits on the right side is suggested to be respectful.
